Light balance is taken into account rather vividly here. Light from through the clouds are reflected well in the water droplets. The position of the light is taken into account in the girl's shadow as well as on her figure.
The golden glow of the light vividly affects the whole scene in a gentle, yet vibrant way. A counteracting purple shadow affects the darker areas in the scene.
The title, Renaissance, is beautifully reflected in the weathered stones. The aged, simple, and sturdy style of the arch and fountain gives a vibe of medieval masonry. I am overall pleased with this fine piece.
Technically I think it's amazing, I really like the blending of all the elements: the fog, the houses in the background, the splatter of the water, ... there are only a view things that bother me:
* You forgot to completely erase a part of the well, that was hanging down before on it's right. Half of it is still there. * I think the blending of the two different floors is a bit hard, from brown to grey, from one stone to another, maybe use a softer gradient for this? * Not sure about the proportions, the well seems a little bit small, but I think, that's only how I see it, so, don't bother.
